slime care 101

keep your jar squishy, stretchy, and happy. zuzu's official guide to caring for your slime ๐Ÿ’Œ

๐ŸŒธ storing your slime

seal the lid tight after every play session โ€” air is slime's enemy. keep it somewhere cool and shaded, away from windows and radiators. drawers, shelves, the inside of your closet โ€” all good. don't refrigerate. don't leave in a hot car.

๐Ÿซง wash your hands first

clean, dry hands keep your slime alive longest. lotions, food residue, and dirt all break it down. a quick rinse before you play and your jar will thank you.

โœจ slime feels stiff?

add 1โ€“2 drops of warm water and knead for a minute. still tough? a tiny pump of lotion works too. work it in slowly โ€” too much and it goes the other way (sticky). patience is the trick.

๐Ÿงช slime feels sticky?

sprinkle a tiny pinch of activator (you can find boric-acid solution online or at a craft store) and knead. start small โ€” a couple drops at a time. stickiness usually means heat or over-played, both fixable.

๐Ÿฐ safety stuff

slime is for play, not eating. keep it away from kiddos under 3 (small parts), pets, hair, carpet, fabric, and anything you love (it gets stuck and you cry). wash hands after every session.

๐Ÿ’Ž about the charms + add-ins

the charms, fimos, glitter, and other goodies are part of the slime โ€” they live in the jar and travel with it. small parts are not edible and not for very young children. supervise with kids under 8.
